Bee still

Already we have a few bees appearing. The crocus was a surprise as it wasn't something we planted but today we noticed a few bees out. They were very slow moving and seemed sleepy.

At yesterday's Seedy Saturday, we went to a fascinating talk on climate change and the bees. One thing I learned was that there are a lot of native bees that we can encourage. Mason bees are the ones that most people have heard about, but there are a lot of others. That leaves me wondering what kind of bees we saw today.
