A Tale Of Two Cities

The upper scarf is that of my beloved Bradford City nil, who today claimed another Premiership scalp (Sunderland) in the FA Cup with a 2-0 victory. Please God, Arsenal next in really bad weather at Valley Parade . . .

The lower scarf is the carnival scarf of the city of Tilburg in the Netherlands, now temporarily dubbed 'Kruikerstad', where I used to live and of which I have such wonderful memories. Tonight they will be going berserk and having fun. I wish I could be there with them.
