".....special residential interest"

Our afternoon out got less and less as time just disappeared! However we did go for a walk in fading sunshine around the block taking in the prestigious Park Langley roads and appreciated the architecture of many houses in this "area of special residential interest." These very detached homes with their porthole windows have always been a favourite of mine.

And today we heard that Michele Ferrero of Ferrero Rocher and Nutella fame died yesterday. Apparently to make chocolate go further in Italy during the war, his father added hazelnuts to the chocolate made in his factory. What a good idea that proved to be. 

D wonders how Jonathan Ross will feel...? 

This evening I am enjoying that "no Monday" feeling. I have some good things planned plus free days too. The best way to go.
