Punk'd

Out to the old house today to make amends to some of the mess left by the previous tenant.
Who in their right mind changes light fittings without the consent of the agent, or even (god forbid) the owner/ landlord?
Well it happened to us.

2 hours of hard graft filling holes, caulking, fitting new light bulbs and we called it a day for now. We'll be back in the week with new batteries for smoke alarms and *more* light bulbs (who the hell doesn't replace light bulbs?!) in varying places.



Who'd be a landlord eh?.

Prize for today was a trip to Stockbridge so that S could covet the fancy paint shop down there. £42 later and 2 pots later we hit the wee market. Although nothing really took our fancy we did try out some Steampunk coffee that had travelled all the way from North Berwick to be there. 
Tres nice.
