My kind of town

Today the four of us went to London. It is one of my and Jon's favourite things to do. We drive up and park alongside Tate Britain as it is free parking on a Sunday. We then stroll through Millbank and cross one of the bridges (today it was Westminster) and join the South Bank.
To my mind there are few finer things in life than taking a relaxing stroll along the South Bank taking in the breathtaking views, the street performers and the second hand book stalls. Just scurry past the horrible London aquarium building first as that really lets the side down!
Today we went for breakfast in Giraffe (there's a large amount of chain restaurants which is a shame) and then headed for the South Bank centre as they had a children's festival on until next Sunday. Most of the activities were too old for I and A slept in her pram but we had a good look around. After this we headed back to the car having had a lovely family day.....
