Sunday: Presidential Inauguration

Yesterday I mentioned that I bowed out of our party a little earlier than the others as I didn't want to be jaded for today.  This was because I was attending the inauguration of Croatia's new president, Kolinda Grabar-Kotarovic.

It was a beautiful day - brilliant blue skies.  The ceremony was held in the square by St Mark's Church in Upper Town.  This was followed by a buffet lunch in the Dverce Palace.   

I don't think this is something I will get to do too often in my lifetime.  For that reason, I can overlook the fact that my name was spelt wrong on the invitation.
