Banana Bridge

About a mile south of the busy intersection with the M4 the Banana Bridge, as the locals call it, crosses the M5 at Patchway, North Bristol. The motorway was much quieter this evening than it would be at most other times and especially when the summer holidays get going. On the plus side they've now finished the traffic calming measures which we'll be watching with interest as the tourists started heading to the South West.
