Reminded Of Tradition

Traditionally the St Brigid's Cross is made on the first day of February, St Brigids Day, first day of Spring and the beginning of Imbolc.

Yesterday I traveled to Waterford with my blip buddy and as she had a conversation with her late husband Bryan I took the opportunity to cut some rushes on a small regional road as I waited. I made up the cross today along with a few bracelets and miniature crosses. I'm hoping she will hang it above her door to keep her safe....just saying
