Waited 30 years...

Of course I am most terribly terribly bad at it but after 30 years  of working up the courage I have now tried skiing. It seems my legs may have been attached in a way which makes stopping quite awkward and painful. However I am now planning ways to practise with lengths of guttering gaffer taped to my shoes so that I will be much better at it next time. My lovely companions were totally awesome at it of course...
