Ride like Bille

Anne Ward decided to recreate Billie Fleming's immense world record of cycling nearly 30,000 miles in one year: 1938 on a 3 speed. She's created a website http://www.tributetobillie.co.uk/ and is encouraging different women to take segments each day in order to recreate the route and promote the health benefits of cycling.

Today was a free day for anyone to join in the spirit of this venture across the UK so I cycled 43 miles and 2 great pit stops. Thanks go to my folks for a delicious lunch and to my pal for making choc meringues and her first home made Swiss roll with home made lemon curd so we could have a 1938 type afternoon tea :)
