The hidden streets of Liverpool

I have been on a tour of some of the streets of Liverpool which have been developed and rejuvenated in the last twenty five years but hide a wonderful history going back to the 18th century. Set in And around Duke Street we revisited parts of the original Ropewalks area created shortly after the start of the Docks. It was fascinating.

The building captured was owned by Ellis and Son originally and still features a building inside the building.

I was, after one hour and a half hours walking, somewhat exhausted so have had an afternoon nap. Feeling restored looking forward to dinner with my hosts and another friend. A good day all round.
