Dowton church

St Mary's Church, Bampton a.k.a. St Michael and All Angles, Downton. Yes! I stood in the very doorway and walked down the very aisle that Lady Edith and Lady Mary did. We also saw Lady Crawley's house, 'the wall' and the houses which play the part of the pub. Lovely, very friendly village with a nice art gallery and a little exhibition about the series housed in the library building. Worth a visit for Downton fans!
