The Death of the American Mall

Something to be celebrated, really, but a sad spectacle while it's happening. We gave over the day to couch shopping, after the failure of the last attempt, and it brought us to some terrible places. But there is a happy ending here--this superannuated mall is about to be opened to the air and turned inside out. No word on whether they will tear down the car park.
