Castle Ring Fog

Another local blipper had prompted me to pop up to Castle Ring, and old iron-age hill fort on Cannock Chase.  I visited it in my youth when I spent a term in the third form (you don't hear that said much anymore) boarding at Longdon Hall about 3 miles away.

The fog gave some lovely gradation but I needed somewhere to take advantage of the conditions.  Standing on the fort you could't see much so I entered the woods around it.  I've again taken advantage if the new site's characteristics and cropped this in the classic 6x17 format.

Still no sunlight to mention in the Midlands, fingers crossed for some different weather next week.
