Dullsville
Living in the converted attic of a C19th Ottoman hunting lodge (Barton Hall by name), if I stick my head out of the skylight, I get a wintry Bosphorus view with Asia on the other side. This is the most interesting thing that has happened to me today. Last night I swallowed what turned out to be a comatose inducing flu remedy (anxious to be better in time to fly to Atlanta on Tuesday) and didn't wake properly until 10.20am - and not even then could I crawl from my chamber. I have spent the day in a stupor where my little grey cells are as dull as today's Istanbul sky. At least the flu symptoms have retreated.
