Water sports

It's Sunday, so my walk this morning was along the river while the boy child was out in a single scull. However, rather than keep repeating pictures of sporty people rowing up and down the Lagan, I decided to just take a picture of the river instead.

That turned out to be easier said than done. The Lagan was like Piccadilly Circus this morning - there were boats everywhere. Fortunately, the traffic jam cleared and I was able to get a quick pic of the river without humans spoiling the view.

It's strange to think that this scene is only a mile or so from Belfast city centre - it looks like it could be in the middle of nowhere.

Now, with an early blip safely out of the way, it's time to settle down with Scotland v Wales, Arsenal v Middlesborough, and guests for the evening.
