For Sam

Today is a sad day.

Our lovely dog Sam left us today, very suddenly.

He was running on the beach with his pals when he had a major problem with his heart.

We had him at the vets within 30 minutes, but there was nothing they could do to help him.

We had to let him go.

Therry and I miss him so much.

He was 10 years old and we had no clue this may happen.
All our other dogs have reached 15-17 years.

He'd been to the vets just a few weeks ago for his jabs and the vet said he was in fine form.

He was a lovely natured boy, loved by so many folks.

We feel so lucky to have been able to give him a home after the Wainwright Shelter rescued him.

I know that when his body gave out, his spirit carried on running to catch up with old friends that had gone before.
