"We all have our time machines.

Some take us back, they're called memories.  Some take us forward, they're called dreams."  (Jeremy Irons).

This is my life to date in watches.  The first on the left I got when I was 12 or 13 from my nana. The next, the lovely white gold Tissot I recall buying when mum and I went to Hawaii which must have been around 1980. The marcasite was of course a 21st present - what woman of my age and my mother's age did not get one?

The rest have followed on through the years.  I loved the sun and moon one, thought it was very sophisticated back in the 1990s!  The last one on the right was an Xmas gift from Dave a few years back, it has a beautiful mother of pearl face.  Alas I feel it may be time (if you excuse the pun) to move on as I can't read the date anymore, even with my glasses on!

Summer passes and one remembers one's exuberance
Autumn passes and one remembers one's reverence
Winter passes and one remembers one's perseverance."
