Pete's 50th Birthday Cycle

I suppose I should really have a photo of Pete as the blip since it was his birthday we were out celebrating but since he was cycling the same legs as me it was a bit difficult to get any shots other than on my mobile so I've blipped this one of Jimmy and Sylvia on the first of 5 legs on our morning trip from Montrose to Stonehaven further up the East Coast.

6 of us made our circuitous way north, cutting inland to do some offroad stuff through the forests at Drumtochty and Fetteresso. It ended up being a cracking day with some fine cycling and even better socialising with wives and partners at the Marine Hotel at the harbour in Stonehaven. An excellent meal was had and the several pints of Timothy Taylor's was just reward for a fine effort.

This blip was taken just south of St Cyrus looking back out to the coast after a tough climb.
