The London Eye

After work I decided to go West for a change and strangely the train chaos works to my advantage.   Because I only have a train ticket the tube costs money, so normally I would have gone to Charing X after work by walking over London Bridge and jumping on a train at platform 6, so it takes ages.  Currently my train ticket is valid for interconnecting train stations, so I was able to go Cannon Street to Embankment for "free" and it was miles quicker too.   I thought the Eye might be red but not quite, it was pink.   A view I have blipped often but the rain was pretty heavy so this was the best of four.    

*back-blipped* - last night was one of the first times since the new layout that I've had problems loading but my internet connection is also slow so perhaps it was that :(
