Early morning contrails

These two had an early start from Kansas City. The trails looked great in the early morning sky. The photograph doesn't really do it justice.

It has been very cold today largely because of the wind and cold air from, as usual, our friends in Canada. This is supposed to last all week so we shan't be visiting dog parks before Friday!
