Queequeg doesn't do Valentine's day...

...and neither do I. I'm not particularly romantic, and if I was going to be romantic I wouldn't choose a day that card, flower and chocolate companies tell me I have to be romantic!

I went to the cinema with E this afternoon to see Into the Woods, quite a good film, but could actually have done without the singing, and I usually like a musical. After the film we went for raspberry and banana smoothies and met Michael, who walked over from the golf course (where he'd been having a nice stroll round of golf in the early spring sunshine). We drove E home, then Michael and I picked up a Chinese takeaway for dinner; spicy chicken satay skewers and crispy chilli chicken with fried rice for me. Yummy. Now we're relaxing by a roaring fire, catching up on some TV.
