Back to the hospital!
... well yesterday evening we were celebrating Mum's return home and today I've had to take her back to the hospital where we were from lunchtime until 5pm (which meant me leaving home around 10.30am). I expected her to be re-admitted, as did the nurse who saw us when we first arrived, but my guess is that they hadn't any beds and as she's OK in herself she's come home with me tonight (after we had instructions how to manage). We have to return to the ward on Monday morning for her to have a scan as they are not sure what is wrong. We've had an interesting afternoon as our small waiting area filled up with people we almost began to feel like an extended family. They seem to have a system where a nurse sees you fairly quickly but then people have to wait for the next stage - often for quite a long time. In some way it's a shame that Ann wasn't with us - she'd have had enough stories to incorporate into her writing for months to come ;)
The only image I had for today was a rather blurry image of a Bullfinch hanging around the front garden feeders. When I first got home I didn't have the energy to take anything else but I seem to have come round a little now and I spotted this Amaryllis on the window ledge just coming into full bloom.
