Happy St Valentine's Day Cairo

Nice to have a bit of extra time here. This morning we took a couple of colleagues for brunch to The Left Bank on the Nile in Agouza. It's a place to see and be seen and definitely up there on the Cairo scene at the moment, but they really do an excellent brunch menu.

We were invited to a party from 5pm onwards, also In Zamalek, so wandered round there till that time, seeking out Yasheen to see how he was doing. Went to Natalie's charades and pizza party - great fun! Left there around 10 and then home to bed.

So nice to not have to pack up and leave immediately.
