Croydon Music Reunion

30 years on and today I met up with lots of musicians that played classical music in Croydon in the 70's and 80's.  I'd asked them to bring photos of themselves at that time, and Peter (trombone) did - you have to admit, it's a cracker!

It was a really great evening, students, teachers catching up and lots of people I didn't know dropping in.   David Kendall, the inspiration for this, my horn teacher and part of the (fantastic) Croydon Music Service at that time had a big smile on his face all night...

The evening ended with the sneaking of unfinished wine bottles back to the "Snotlob's" hotel room, and continued  giggling, talking and laughing, into the early hours.  (Although there was more shusshing of each other as we were concious of other hotel guests, which we probably wouldn't have worried about 30 years ago...)
