Sunshine and Showers

I was driving towards Arnastapi in the west of Iceland.  It was a lovely day, very cold, and I could see the sleet showers coming in off the ocean and sweeping towards the mountains.  It was then I spotted the church.  I reversed the car and found a track that led towards the church and pulled over.  I set up my tripod and camera then waited.  It was about 20 minutes before the shot I wanted happened.  The church was bathed in sunlight as a very heavy shower passed and as the shower crossed over to the mountain range, part of the mountain was similiarly bathed in sunlight whilst another was in deep shadow.  The effect was very dramatic and just what I wanted.
