Scallop

I have lost count of the number of photographs I have seen, in competitions and exhibitions, of Maggi Hambling's stainless steel sculpture to celebrate the composer Benjamin Britten. However, I had never seen it "in the flesh" until today, as we wandered along the seafront to Aldeburgh. It is an attractive and enjoyable sculpture, and I found lots of photographic opportunities studying details of the sculpture.
