Washout!

We only managed to get out for a walk out late afternoon as it's been raining all day! We walked alongside the airport runway in the hope of seeing wildlife and a plane or two. It was very cold and breezy right beside the runway and muddy and slippery on the lower track we discovered. Poor Joseph slipped down a very steep part, fortunately only hurting his pride. We think it might be used by mountain bikers as we did notice tyre tracks in the mud.

Rik has mentioned seeing a buzzard on the way home a few times,  we've finally got to see it today. I got a couple of shots but the sky was too dark for it to be any good. Next time...
