Then and now

I had intended to blip something to reflect our Big Moment, but I didn't get chance to do it in time.......so, since today is a Valentine's Day, I though I would share it with you anyhow!

The top two photos are from our wedding day in April 1994. Our wedding was a family affair and a friend,who was a keen amateur photographer took the photos, and another friend, made our cake as a gift. Diane was very skilful and actually hand made all the decorative flowers on the cake as well as the cake itself:-) The photograph of us is sat in the back of my sis and brother in laws classic BMW that they had at the time, and kindly let us use it for our wedding day. We were very lucky, it was a lovely sunny warm day, but hub had to remove his glasses as they were reactors and had gone too dark for the photos!

The bottom two photos are current ones. As you can see, I still have the decorative flowers from the top,of our wedding cake. I keep them in a box out of the light, it's amazing how well Preserved they are :-) The picture is of us on holiday last year onboard Oceania in the carribean.....looking rather healthy don't you think ;-)
