Mono Monday: Spirit

This was a hard one! Finding something physical to represent something without form or substance. I stopped by my church on the way home from work. Fortunately, the door was open. In the near darkness, I settled on this alcove where the faithful light candles while praying for specific intentions. My thought was that the "spirit" of their request was ascending to heaven with the burning of the candle. I did decide to crop out the offering box, though!
