Greening the dear place

Glasgow today for a meeting. As I crossed George Square there was a buzz of activity with workers raking sand and preparing to refresh the grassy areas. I've no idea if this is an annual event: I'm not in Glasgow regularly enough. The efforts will be enjoyed in a few months time.
