Waiting to cross the street.   A foggy and chilly start but it's warming up to another mild and dry day  Saw the massage therapist this morning, always helps to make me feel a bit better.

Hubby home from SF.  Met him downtown for some lunch.  A lot going on around his office today, a couple of demonstrations/protests, one outside the Japanese consulate (re the killing of dolphins) and then around the corner an anti-fracking protest in front of city hall.

Oregon State Governor, John Kitzhaber, resigned this morning.  Kind of a bummer.  A scandal of politics, love, alleged ethics violations and a pending criminal investigation, amongst other things.  It's been rumbling on for a few months but to be frank I've not paid that much attention to any of it, as things go in comparison to other news around the world it's not been big on my radar.  Kate Brown, the Oregon Secretary of State, will be taking over until the next election.
