Hellos and goodbyes

Today was a day for hellos and a goodbye. I unexpectedly received a message last night from 2 old friends and colleagues to say they were visiting LC today and was li free for coffee? Of course I was! Lovely to have an excuse.

And so, the call came and I went to the restaurant to meet up with them and bumped into yet another ex colleague. I hadn't seen him for about 6 years, and lovely to see him all grown up with his own business.

And then for the sad farewell. There we are in the photo ( I won't be rushing out to buy one of those selfie sticks)!

Some friends one knows for years, and some just a short while, this one only just a year, but what a year! Sam, larger than life, funny and quirky; lover of flight, cars, flowers , Costa coffee, black swans and Leeds Castle, Alice in Wonderland, Wonder Woman and much much more. I will miss you my friend, make sure you use those tickets, and come visit.
