Genreing !

Fun last night when this film course started. I'm doing it to maintain my interest in film. I've done several before with Tutor Nigel , so knew it would be interesting and lively : sure enough all 12 of us had come back to Nigel for more.
Our focus will be the Hollywood Studio system, and Thomas Schatz's 'Generic Model' of Genre. We soon shot that down in flames, as he divides into 2 Genres : Order = Men & Integration = Women.
After I'd pointed out that it's dated 1981, I think Nigel will be looking for another model.
