Secret Artist

Another Young Americans photo because, well, that's all I did at the weekend....

Now we have it down, we are looking forward to next year when they all come back, so I asked for volunteers to make a poster advertising the e-mail address for info for next year. As usual all of the mums declared they were useless and had no artistic skills whatsoever. The next time I looked, Mrs N had thrown out these pictures of cute kids enjoying the workshop! Talk about hiding your light under a bushel!

Which were only overshadowed by the performances of all the children in the final show of the Young Americans workshop at the end of the day. All the kids were amazing, and it was inspirational how the YAs drew their skills out of them, even the shyest of them.
She wasn't actually any better than any of the other kids on stage, I'm sure, but I have to admit, I was personally particularly impressed with the little girl who sang "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cindy Lauper....but maybe I'm just a little biased.....
