Prat Of The Week

Not even sure if NeuBlipfoto does the crown bit anymore, but I don't care, I have my POTW crown. And it is (was) an animal so it's bound to be Popular.

After all that excitement, with the sincere and supportive congratulatory platitudes it brings winging in from all quarters (cheers Insto, Andmoff, et al.) we headed off en mass for a hike up into the Ochil Hills. 

The usual stop-off points are closed off just now due to the construction of the giant electricity pylons for the Beauly-Denny line so we had to drive on a bit. Ended up wandering down past the Loss Dam around the back of Dumyat and then over the hill to the derelict buildings around the spooky old hamlet of Jerah. Snapped some nice atmospheric shots around the rubble, but then we found some sheep's bones and got distracted. This was soon followed by a session of hurling sheep shit/dodging sheep shit at/from each other. 

Good wee afternoon out withe the weans, who hardly moaned at all even though their phone signals were down for the whole of the hike.
