Coffee cups

Sometimes disposable one-use-only things become quite permanent. These fellows used to belong to a group whose other members have all ended up in the trash but these guys stand on top of my shelves and are used for storage. One guards the sugar-cubes I have stopped using for my coffee and the other holds earplugs that I used to give out to students who requested them during exams but don't anymore after the Student Society started selling them themselves as a fundraiser. So two useless cups holding useless stuff but they've been there for years and probably will be there for years to come.
