Hope

As I was walking today, a still , fresh day ,I was struck by the feel of expectant hope in the cool spring air.
The birds were singing their messages to each other , and I noticed some were even collecting nesting material , preparing for the new life that will soon be arriving.
The snowdrops, clean and fresh poking through the dark soil and leaf litter of yesterday's season, bringing with them a sense of purity , a new start , a fresh page.
The leaf buds on the trees beginning to emerge , brand new and unspoilt.
Spring , expectant hope of new things to come , yesterday left behind , anticipation for tomorrow.
HOPE - confident trust with the expectation of fulfilment.

I pray that God , the source of hope , will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
