Eurasian Teal

Another new bird the Eurasian Teal! I'm used to seeing in the UK a rather more exotic looking Teal. This duck is the smallest of the ducks found in North Oman, only the tiny Cotton Teal is smaller. This is the male (Drake) and his partner is very similar to a Mallard female, being very inconspicuous and having no flash bits like this Drake-with his green eye patch and chocolate brown head!
