Better than Temazepam

This is one of my many bookcases, all crammed with books old and new (mostly old). I'm sure all my librarian friends would itch to put everything in some kind of order, but I know where to find what I want. What I usually want is something to read in bed to pull my mind away from the million things that have to be done tomorrow.
A well written tale for children or a murder mystery works wonders - sufficiently absorbing to distract, but not in the least demanding (especially if you've read it before and know 'who dunnit'). I usually doze off after a couple of pages.
