Flat Tyre

Not on my vehicle thankfully, but on one of the massive tractors at the agricultural garage in Wilton. It's one of our favourite ways to kill some time when we're there on a Thursday (I run the Rhyme Time singing session in Wilton library, followed by the Breastfeeding Support Group in the children's centre) so Ted marches in with great confidence. He points out the tractors, the telehandler, the ploughs, the combine harvester, and today he was fascinated by the flat tyre, the first we'd seen there. When I showed it to him I gave it a prod with my foot, so every time he went over to it - several times - he then gave it a little kick before standing and pondering it very seriously. He was only distracted by a fork-lift truck beetling around moving pallets of compost.

As you can see, he spent much of the day clutching his new Bob the Builder crane, Lofty, picked up second hand that morning.
