Ewe Sale

The annual ewe sale was a big one this year because of the drought. There were about 12000 ewes and a hundred rams auctioned. The committee had to extend the sale yard to accommodate them.

The sale was brisk, with several teams of auctioneers working, one team ready in the next pen to take over as soon as the previous sale finished.
