BeneFIETS

So, to make a long story short, a few weeks ago a friend was attacked by 4 drunk guys when he was cycling home (alone) after a party. Lucky he wasn't seriously harmed, but he did lost his bicycle and glasses during the whole ordeal.

It scared the crap out of us all, we felt bad for him a lot and we needed a reason to have a BBQ. So we decided to throw him a BeneFIETS party.
FYI benefiet means benefit/charity and fiets means bicycle.
We had a box, with a very ugly photo of him on it, for generous donations for him to buy a new bicycle, bicycle-themed music and a splendid BBQ :)

He was very surprised and I think he was quite happy with his beneFIETS party :) (maybe except for the horrible jokes we made about stolen bicycles the whole evening haha). I think it was a success!

Met this sight in the morning in Nijmegen, lovely sunshine :)

Plus, some proof that I wasn't kidding about me loving carrots :D
