When you go to the Oregon Coast in October, you are expecting to have a sullen dreary weekend full of wind and rain. Good for feeling sad and poetic.

But, we were blessed with gorgeous weather - possibly the best weather I've ever gotten on the Oregon Coast. So we quickly regrouped for long bracing walks in the sunshine.

This was the second choice for today, taken 24 minutes later.
