Derelict Thursday....Growth!

Well I am not sure if this is derelict but the growth was on an old dead tree lying beside the lake, covered in cobwebs and looking very old and decrepit.
We took an old bush track that is not used very much, but comes out beside the lake in the next bay around. Lots of trees have fallen down over the years and in many places we needed to climb over them to keep on the track.
Looking at the picture now, it could be the knarly old hoof of some animal....an elephant maybe!

...and I am a bit late getting this up, yesterday afternoon just disappeared with a sea of visitors then preparing for dinner, had asked several neighbours to join us. Had a very good evening, and by the time they had left I didn't feel like blipping.
