The air is so cool that in the shade on the north side of the house the pea size hail has not melted yet.  Feeling a tad better today thank you.

       I did listen to BBC Radio4 i Player this morning.  In Our Time  discussed light. Particle or wave?  Apparently this is the year of light. And I listened to all four The Cliff  essays from the perspective of theatre, (King Lear),  a geologist, a recorder of the sounds of nature, and religion.

       The new editor-in-chief of the The Economist, Zanny Minton Bedoes, was on Charlie Rose.  Letters appearing in the newspaper will no longer begin 'Sir,'

       In other news?  The less said about the perpetrator of the triple murder in Chapel Hill, NC the better.  What's his life worth against potential dentists and architect?   Haven't really paid attention today.  Al Jazeera journalists freed in Egypt.  Egypt buys French fighter jets.  Greece continues to plead their case to the rest of Europe to ease their economic woes.  The Labour Party have made a gaff with their pink bus to woo female voters.  Jon Stewart is leaving The Daily Show  when his contract expires in September.

       The lesson here is don't come to me for news.  I continue to procrastinate. Time to feed the dogs.
