Guiding Light
I travelled to Kingston upon Thames today to see a very dear friend that I've known for nearly twenty five years. Although we hadn't seen each other for a while, we hugged and started our conversation as if it were only last week.
I like that.
She always points me in the right direction, offering sound advice when I can't seem to think straight. She's a good friend.
She's moving to a house that needs completely renovating, on a private estate. It is going to be magnificent. The garden was apparently like the Lost Gardens of Heligan but it is slowly being revealed by a man who knows all there is to know about gardening.
Needless to say, I didn't want to come home.
Today's blip, is a chandelier hanging above the stairs. I liked the way that the reflection of the stair case was caught in the underside.
It will have gone by the time I next visit, along with most of other fixtures and fittings.
