Riding high

The day started with a "Good morning".  I got on the train at the door where the guard had opened the door.  I said "Good morning" and then commented that most people said nothing.  He agreed and then the man behind me also said "Good morning".  A success.

The cakes made it to work safely.  The lemon drizzle cakes were scrummy.  I used a Nigella Lawson recipe. For superfine sugar I used caster.  I'll definitely be making them again.

I'd made cakes because it was Bridget's birthday ie the lady that I gave me these balloons.  

We also went out for lunch with her even though we were all too busy.

A good day.

The bus was blipped as I raced across Waterloo Bridge.

Working from home in the morning so a bit of lie in.  Hurray
