Nautilus

This not very good photo is of a beautiful window hanging we bought in Kennebunkport many years ago. It is set in blue glass and is perfectly suspended. It captures the spirit of  the sea perfectly.

Today was spent preparing for a visit that didn't take place. It gave me the impetus to tidy and will be invaluable in maintaining momentum to clear mum's place.

I miss her more than I thought I would-but as J said, she was a big personality and had a key place in our lives.

We will scatter her ashes beside the sea, where she was happy and relaxed and the cornerstone of her family.
