The van, and family, arrive!

Cautiously, the 'grand camion' reversed down the 'cleared' drive at 09:00! At 10:30 my cousin an her husband arrived (thanks to airport run made by the husband of Crozet608)! I don't think any of us were planning to see quite so many boxes... even Philip would have been surprised!

The two men who arrived with the van had been on the road for nearly 2 weeks! Our belongings had travelled from Middlesborough, to Madrid, to Andorra and Marseille... They had made a drop in each of these places, depositing the contents of a trailer that was attached. I was glad they had not tried to bring the trailer too!

Although both men originally hailed from a country which was once the work place of JoppaStrand, they both now live in the North East of England. One of them in Redcar - which was Philip's birthplace and where he grew up! The world grows smaller...
